
Up To No GOOB
A downloadable GOOB for Windows, macOS, and Linux
The game is a reversed "Tower Defense" game. You play as GOOB, a standard fantasy enemy, your goal is to steal LIBERATE chickens from a progressively more protected chicken coup. The game transforms into a bullet hell as the game progresses. Your objective is to make it to the coup and back with a chicken in tow. Meanwhile avoiding the numerous Arrows and Eggs being shot about.
Liberate as many Chickens as you can! Rescue them from the clutches of a crazy local farm, and bring them back into your safe and cosy cave.
The game was created for #GMTKjam23, in 48 hours.

Veldig kult spill. Kunststilen er den største plussen her. Kontrollene føles bra ut. Fiendene er vanskelige, men de har god opptrekknings- og forutsigbarhetsanimasjoner så man forstår hva som skal skje. Et spennende moment er at spilleren kommer fra høyre, i stedet for venstre. En kan tolke dette som at spilleren faktisk er 'slemmingen' i dette spillet. God tvist på 'Tower Defense'-sjangeren!
Very cool game. Art style is the biggest plus here. Controls feels good. Enemies are hard, but they have good windup and predictions to understand what's going to happen. Exciting the fact that the player comes from the right, instead of the left. One could interpret this as the player actually being the 'bad guy' in this game. Good twist on the Tower Defense-genre!
